Jason Bateman, McSweeney's and more.

Lets talk about some things going on in the internet recently. Ready, set, go.

Probably my favorite actor these days, Jason Bateman, talks about the Arrested Development and more in the interview with menstyle.com. "We're gonna make the movie," Bateman says in the interview. "Mitch Hurwitz is just starting to write it. It'll be out in a year and a half." Speaking of the movie, this blog says that it's likely to come out in January of 2011.

We all remember Cameron from Ferris Bueller's day off. If you enjoyed that performance then you may be excited to know he's the dad in the new movie I Love You, Beth Cooper. Be sure to catch the movie while it's in theatres, it just came out today.

Be sure not to miss the huge sale going on over at McSweeney's. They've even got some of the books for $5 which is such a steal. I may have to indulge in a few for myself. If you're unfamiliar with McSweeney's, do yourself a favor and head on over to the website.

Speaking of good writing, how am I just now finding out about Fifty-Two Stories? They showcase a new short story every week and they've already included full works written by Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Laura Lippman, Louise Erdrich, Dennis Cooper, Mary Gaitskill and others. And they're only on week 27.
